We, as resident/landowner and landowner, respectively, in the Petsworth District, endorse Mike Jenkins for Petsworth supervisor. As an executive director of the Bay Consortium Workforce Investment Board, Inc., a local lifelong resident of the area, and resident of Gloucester for 23 years, Mike Jenkins brings his local roots and work knowledge to the board.

Managing budgets that require funding from the federal government and managing the expenditures for these budgets show he is fiscally responsible. These skills are transferrable to the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors. It is important that people of his caliber are elected to make the most important decisions concerning our tax dollars.

Mike Jenkins is also in tune to the fact that the residents of this county cannot keep funding all the projects, and he will contribute ideas to broaden the tax base so homeowners are not footing the entire bill. He understands the delicate balance between proper...
