Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I have lived in Gloucester County for 32 years and in the Petsworth District for 21 years. I graduated from Gloucester High School and it already needed to have major repairs done then. Now my daughter attends the high school that continuously has a Band-Aid applied through many years not fixing the real ventilation problems, mold and overpopulation. We need a new high school, not a new transportation garage.

A new high school needs to be built for the physical and mental health of our children. It should meet the new law standards for the transgender restrooms, showers, and private changing rooms for the safety of all our children. Respecting all the children’s rights, not just a few.

All the children, parents and residents of Gloucester County should be heard and respected. The school board works for the people, not the other way around. So, I will leave you with a fact that after living here and graduating from Gloucester High School and having chi...
