Law enforcement is more than a job to Detective Edwards. It is her passion. How do I know this? I have personal experience with her where she went above and beyond for my family.

A few years ago, my family was the victim of a con artist. I reported the issue to the sheriff’s department and Ms. Edwards visited me to hear the case. She jumped on it immediately. She went over every detail so that we had an ironclad case.

She even visited me on her days off when I no longer lived in Mathews. April updated me on the proceedings frequently. She started to feel like a friend. My case took time. It took months to resolve. The investigation was long and tedious. She did not give up.

Finally, we went to the judge. I do not drive so April picked me up from Yorktown and went with me to the hearing. The case was ironclad and the prosecution was successful. I felt safe returning home. April Edwards was the reason.
