Letter: For Crowley, 98th District

I’m writing in support of Sheila Crowley to represent us in the 98th District in the Virginia House of Delegates. We chose to settle in Gloucester and Mathews, for the wonderful people, the school systems and the natural environment. Our chosen communities are rich in their own unique culture and is a reason so many have chosen to settle here as we have. Sheila Crowley and her family are among them. Preserving and enriching these communities are important aspects of serving as Delegate and Sheila has been very vocal about her determination to do so if elected.

As parents of adult children, we have a vested interest in the complexities of what the young call “adulting” in the 21st century. Ms. Crowley advocates for a realistic living wage such that people can support themselves and that they may prosper versus merely existing from paycheck to paycheck indefinitely.
