Letter: For Crowley

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

As a resident of Mathews and a person who chose to live here as a retiree, I find that I am in agreement with Sheila Crowley and support her candidacy for Virginia House of Delegates 98th district.

Sheila has the qualities and experience that would make her a good representative for our area. She did not come here to get into politics but has seen the need for good representation. Her experience working for the National Low Income Coalition and Mental Health America of Virginia tells me that she is a person who understands the concerns of those whose voices are not usually heard. She is a strong advocate for battered women and their children. I believe she is a people person and will be a people’s delegate.

Please come to hear Sheila and learn about her for yourself. There will be a debate between Dr. Crowley and Delegate Keith Hodges on Oct. 24.
