Letter: For Bazzani

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

While attending the Guinea Jubilee recently, I had the opportunity to meet Phil Baz-
zani, who is running for the Gloucester Board of Supervisors, York District. We had a great conversation and I told him I would visit his website (www.philbazz.com). What an impressive resume he has. We talked about his vision for Gloucester and how he wants to help the county and citizens regarding spending issues. Helping is what he’s all about, but it wasn’t until closing Saturday night as I was leaving that I stopped and watched something that impressed me.

Mr. Bazzani was taking his tent down, and I noticed him looking at his opponent, Mr. Blake, and his wife struggling to take down their tent. I observed Mr. Bazzani stop what he was doing and walk over to Mr. Blake and begin helping him take his tent down, then get a cart and load Mr. Blake’s tent and other heavy items in the cart and push it to the road while Mr. Blake retrieved his vehicle.
