Gloucester residents, please don’t be duped by the rhetoric that is being spread everywhere by one of the candidates for school board. The school board is very important in our community, and while this is an important election, I doubt it is the most important one in 25 years. Candidates to the school board should not be using language like “Woke Agenda” and “CRT.” They are distractions and smokescreens.

These things are not in our schools. They may be in other communities, but they are not here in Gloucester. Policies have been created already that specifically spell out Parental Rights. Time doesn’t need to be wasted on recreating it.

Teachers have only one concern in their classrooms; to teach students to be successful and be prepared to become goal-oriented and proficient adults.
