The American Bar Association’s Rule 8.2: Judicial & Legal Officials states: “(a) A lawyer shall not make a statement that the lawyer knows to be false of with reckless disregard as to its truth or falsity concerning the qualifications or integrity of a judge, adjudicatory officer or public legal officer, or of a candidate for election or appointment to judicial or legal office.”

Did Mr. Ingles to makes such disparaging remarks about a “candidate for election” in order to make his chosen candidate, Mr. Smith, look better or is he desperate? In reading the letter, one can quickly parse out what is going on. He is trying to confuse people by not telling the complete story. So, he weaves his version of events 13 years ago. I can’t help but wonder … How can someone be fired if they both had already resigned months and weeks before the meeting? It’s obvious they were not fired.
