Letter: Following a good cause for the life of a child

Those of us blessed with good health too often take it for granted. We also take our children’s good health for granted. However, when a situation involving our children becomes life threatening it changes our whole attitude. We realize just how precious and fragile life is.

The life of a child is very precious and fragile, regardless of our attitude. Question is: How precious is the life of a child to you? Can you put a dollar sign on it? Of course not, but every dollar contributed to cancer research can work towards saving many children’s lives.

For the fifth year, I am participating in the Saint Baldrick’s Foundation, where volunteers shave their heads in solidarity with children who are victims of this terrible affliction. I am seeking donations from those with love in their hearts and the mindset that somebody else is not going to do it. You can donate to STBaldricks.org under my name.
