So far, on April 4, I am feeling the pain. Since Feb. 1, 2025, President Trump’s tariff policies have caused my retirement portfolio to fall 11 percent in value. Gas prices have gone up 50 cents/gallon in just the last week! I am hoping my car, with 130,000 miles, keeps running until the next election so I don’t have to pay a $7,500 premium!
