Letter: Featherbed Lane is a dangerous road

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I am writing to try and get someone to take a look at Featherbed Lane in Gloucester. This road is the only one can take to reach Severn Church. Once you turn on Featherbed, it is approximately a seven-mile trip to the church. There are no street lights, it is extremely curvy and the two lanes are so narrow that if one has to move over just a little bit, you will wind up either in the ditch, the woods or in someone’s yard. Additionally, there are no lines on the roads—either in the middle or on the sides.

This is a very dangerous road, not only for the church participants, but also for everyone who lives in a house on that road. I think action should be taken to upgrade this road before there is a serious or fatal car accident. Actually, I believe this is the worst road I have ever traveled in this county!
