Letter: Family, friends, health, much more

What I’m most thankful for are many, many things—too numerous to list here—but family, friends and health are at the top of my list. Next comes M.O.W. (Meals on Wheels). I’m grateful for Nelda, Diane, Lou Ann, Lillian and all those hard-working ladies that do the good and nutritious food for M.O.W.

I’m grateful for Laura, Polly, Dennis and friends at the Senior Center that coordinate the program. I’m grateful for all the many guys and gals who serve the needs of our seniors and thankful to be one of them. It has helped me feel useful, renew old friendships and meet new friends.

I’m urging all our younger citizens to come out and help keep this program going and you can feel useful and grateful too. Have a blessed and serving Thanksgiving.
