Letter: Equal justice?

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

The long-running show for punishment of former Gov. Bob McDonnell goes on and on. In fact, it receives almost as much attention as former President Richard Nixon did regarding his action in the Watergate fiasco.

But I pray that what I write here will be printed to expose the frightening absence of equal justice as it applies to a former Republican governor of Virginia and a former Democrat president of our country. Yes, one governed one state and the other ruled over all the states, but each was the primary executive in charge and, according to the laws of our Constitution, justice is to be applied equally.
