Letter: Enjoy Halloween

Hey, everyone, Halloween is drawing near. It’s the most frightful time of the year for all of the ghouls and goblins, along with other horrifying monsters to come out to play.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year that I always look forward to. Each year on Halloween, I went as something different, from Barney to Freddie Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street.

I remember when I was in kindergarten at Rise Elementary School when Mrs. Booker and the other teachers threw us kids a Halloween party. I dressed up as Leo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my Mikey pin that my dad made out of wood for me to wear.

It was so much fun, ’cause we got to go Trick-or-Treating throughout the whole school. On Halloween, when I’m not sitting outside giving out candy to the Trick-or-Treaters, I’m inside my house watching my scary movie marathon like “Friday the 13th.” My favorite treat to receive on Halloween is a gooey caramel apple.
