Letter: Don’t take credit

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Congratulations to the Gloucester Board of Supervisors for allocating “more than $780,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funding to two county needs—covering the balance of work being done to Sewage Pumping Station 11 and providing one-time premium pay to Social Services employees.” (Sept. 22 Gazette-Journal)

On Feb. 27, 2021, Rep. Rob Wittman, along with all of his fellow Republican representatives, voted against H.R. 1319, the American Rescue Plan Act (www.congress.gov). Please, Mr. Witt- man, do not take credit for helping Gloucester and its citizens. Please, Gloucester citizens, vote for the people who will represent Gloucester and its needs.
