On Hyco House on Monday evening, an enthusiastic crowd gathered to hear the thoughts of Mathews County School Board candidates Mari Gibbs and Lorraine Forrest. There were many questions for Dr. Gibbs, who answered them with clarity and honesty to the satisfaction of all.
The attendees also had questions for Ms. Forrest. It was disappointing that she, at first accepted the invitation to attend, but later declined to do so.
