The Mathews County Republican Committee wishes to express its great disappointment at the decision by the Gwynn’s Island Civic League to exclude political booths this year.

Political discourse at small community summer festivals is as American as apple pie. Our rejection included the possibility we would be allowed next year. Let’s hope so.
