Letter: Dedicated volunteers keep Gloucester humming

April 10-16 is National Volunteer Week. Gloucester County is fortunate to have large numbers of community members, young and experienced, who unselfishly contribute to our community, schools and county. Unbeknownst to many are the 200+ community members who serve on over 30 boards, commissions, councils and committees appointed by the Gloucester Board of Supervisors to advise the board and county staff on numerous and diverse areas and arenas of county government.

While there are too, too many people to thank individually for their time, effort and service to the County of Gloucester, please let me share just a few of the many examples of the dedicated and committed community members who epitomize the meaning of civic involvement.
