Letter: Cutting teachers ‘mean and unnecessary’

The Gloucester Board of Supervisors’ beggarly support of the school budget should not go without comment.
The first school years, most experts hold, are the most important. Cutting teachers available for first, second and third grades is mean and unnecessary.
The supervisors, indeed, the citizens of Gloucester should be ashamed.
