Letter: Cuccinelli for governor

The Commonwealth of Virginia is where America began laying the foundation for the only successful democratic republic in the world. Think for a moment what this means, because it is powerful, and then start feeling some pride in what was accomplished. Then ask yourself, "What can I do that supports and respects this gift of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?"

Being Governor of Virginia is a position of respect that requires the ability to lead, based on experience, education and knowledge of our laws and our history. With this background, the governor can work with our representatives to provide more job opportunities that will fit all of those who want to find work. The Democratic candidate, Mr. McAuliffe, has none of the qualifications to be governor because most of his life has been spent making deals, often the "you scratch my back, I scratch yours" kind and there are more questions than answers as to whose back was being scratched and why.
