Regarding crimes and shootings in our major cities where young people are concerned, families must get more involved. The only time families are seen now is after a loved one has been shot and killed. Where were they before that? Mourning after the fact solves nothing.
I believe more family involvement and accountability is necessary if we are ever to get a handle on this crisis. Law enforcement certainly plays a major role, but they primarily become factors after the fact. That’s too late.
