Letter: Couldn’t they have put it elsewhere?

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I find it interesting that the First Presbyterian Church can put a cemetery on Main Street without a building permit or land zoned for a cemetery. They are going to say that it is not a cemetery as it will contain boxes with the ashes of deceased church members, but ashes are the remains of a human and therefore their project is still a cemetery. With all the land they own, they could have put this project in another location.
