Letter: Concerned about redistribution of property rights

I am growing increasingly concerned about the direction Mathews County is going. Mathews’s membership and support of the MPPDC and continued acceptance of the Comprehensive Plan formulated by the Planning Commission. It appears that Mathews citizens are in great danger of losing their constitutional rights because of the chair of the planning commission, Danette Machen, apparently embracing the U.N. Agenda 21 guidelines for world government. In spite of Ms. Machen’s insulting rebuttal in the Gazette-Journal, it is plain that her beliefs are straight from the U.N. playbook. Comparing her own words to the U.N. Agenda 21 language is telling. We do not need an agent of the U.N. promoting the socialist redistribution of our property rights to the government or quasi-government (MPPDC).
