Letter: Community support renews fire victims’ strength

On July 10, our home on Harcum Road in Gloucester burned to the ground. After this devastation, we received a tremendous amount of love and support from family, friends, churches, organizations and strangers from near and far.

We can’t express enough how grateful we are to each and every one of you who stepped forward with a helping hand. A special thank you to our Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad and all fire departments from surrounding counties.

To have so many people care about us enough to come by to pray with and for us, to feed us and to help us financially has renewed our strength enough to pick ourselves up and start all over again.

Our hearts are filled with love and thankfulness. Again, thank you to everyone. We sincerely thank you.
