Letter: Community support appreciated

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

The North River Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons would like to thank community members who help others during the pandemic.

We especially thank the sheriffs, fire and rescue members, food banks, the care clinic, the Samaritan Group, the Guest Program, Bay Aging and hospital and other health care providers.

In times of uncertainty they went about their tasks selflessly and efficiently, adapting to situations as needed so they could continue to provide services. A big thank you goes to educators, library workers, the literacy program and the Boys and Girls Club. We must not forget our essential workers in grocery stores and pharmacies who kept necessary items available. We are very grateful to all of you.
