Polio was still a very real threat when I was a child. People continued to live their lives, not knowing who might get it. That was back in the days before God had been shoved out of public life.

Now God has allowed the COVID-19 plague to come to us from China. I don’t deny that the virus is serious, but thousands of people die every day from many other causes. Those numbers are mostly hidden from us now. My sympathy goes out to all those who have lost loved ones to COVID-19 and all the other causes.

God has also allowed us to experience first-hand the loss of our freedoms, shortages of food and supplies. We are also told what is essential and what isn’t. These are just some of the things people living under communism live with constantly. Will we regain our freedoms?

Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx and Governor Northam haven’t missed either paycheck. They also don’t have to worry about losing their jobs or family business. I think it would have been fair for ...
