Letter: Coleman for State Senate

Today, Thursday, Nov. 21, a canvass will be held to pick the Republican candidate for the special election for the state senate seat being vacated by Lieutenant Governor-elect Ralph Northam.

Mathews belongs to the 6th District. Its local canvass will be from 3-7 p.m. at the Mathews Memorial Library.

The Republican candidate will face Democrat Lynwood Lewis, who won his party’s nomination this past Saturday, and presently represents the 100th district in the Virginia House of Delegates.

Of the three candidates vying for the Republican nomination—Wayne Coleman, John Coggeshall and Richard Ottinger—Wayne Coleman has earned my family’s support and admiration.
