Letter: Celebrating older adults

Bay Aging has the dual distinction and honor of being an Area Agency on Aging and a Community Action Agency with a singular mission to deliver services that people of all ages need to live independently in their communities for as long as possible. During the month of May, designated as Older Adults Month and Community Action Month, Bay Aging joins agencies throughout the country to celebrate older adults and the achievements of families.

Over the span of 41 years, Bay Aging’s robust network of community partners, board directors, donors, volunteers and staff have helped to bring about change and improvements in the lives of older adults and low-income families. Last year, the lives of over 26,000 people of all ages were impacted through one or more services delivered through Bay Aging.
