Editor, Gazette-Journal:

It is always a delight when we receive a call from the Gloucester High School NJROTC, with this group of young people asking if they may pay our residents a visit. My reply is always “Yes, we would love for you to come.” On Aug. 10, the ROTC members arrived and immediately started making a lot of our residents happy.

I wish you could have seen the smiles, heard the laughter and been able to watch this group of young people interacting with the folks in our care.

Room visits, conversation, morning exercise and a craft project were accomplished during their visit.

We thank the students and their leadership for making our day special and extend an invitation to come back next year.
