I would like to take this opportunity again to thank Ms. Brenda Garton as our county administrator since 2008. You have been a breath of fresh air and a ray of sunshine for Gloucester County. You were always fair and reasonable in your dealings. You were honest and forthright. You were committed to collegiality and collaboration. You were committed to transparency and open and rigorous communication and discussion. You were a champion for both the Gloucester County government body and the Gloucester County Public Schools body.

You worked tirelessly to thwart any semblance of division or misunderstanding. You worked very well with Dr. Ben Kiser, our previous excellent, and valued, division superintendent, the entire Gloucester County School Board, and our present excellent, and equally valued, division superintendent, Dr. Walter R. Clemons.
