Editor, Gazette-Journal:

It is time for our country to break the chains of the two-party system. It seems the American people are too lazy to look at proposals by candidates. Are we merely capable of “being” a Republican or “being” a Democrat?

Time for the media to give coverage to all parties and all platforms. It is time for the media to give voice to the ethical people that are willing to run in a primary race on the 2020 Republican Presidential ticket. I know there are millions of truly conservative Americans that would love to have a moral, smart American to vote for, rather than Donald Trump.

Please give voice to the candidates for Independent, Libertarian, Green parties. Now. Not later. These candidates are the best way to get discussion about what really matters. Will they be elected? Probably not in 2020. But, their voices will force the other candidates to be more honest. Don’t treat the “other” parties as fringe or not viable. By ...
