Letter: Bravo to Wittman for opposing pacts

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

The Committee for Constitutional Government is pleased to announce that Representative Rob Wittman has said that he opposes the trade pacts TTP and TTIP. These pacts are an expansion of NAFTA and would result in regionalizing America with other nations at the expense of American sovereignty. The TTP would be a supra-government, combining America with Pacific nations, while TTIP combines the United States with countries in Europe.

The precedent for this has been set with the formation of the United Europe (EU) where the individual countries in Europe have lost most of their sovereignty as a result, having been sold on it in the first place as something good for their economy.
