Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to reflect on the blessings in our lives.  I am so very grateful to live in our community of Gloucester. We have numerous non-profit organizations which provide services to our neighbors. They offer everything from medical services, housing, food, senior daycare to adult education, to name but a few. The list of organizations alone could fill the allotted 250 word maximum for this composition.

I am grateful to the volunteers that give innumerable hours to keep their organizations vibrant and growing. I am thankful for the community organizations that work so hard to provide funding to assist the non-profits.

And, I am most thankful for the citizens of Gloucester who support all of this through their generosity of time, talent, and treasure. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
