Sunday, May 14 is Mothers’ Day this year. It is the day when we celebrate how important they are and how much they have done for us.

When God created man and woman, He gave women the major part in continuing the human race by giving them the opportunity and obligation to (“Be fruitful and multiply,” Genesis 1:28). Although it may sometimes have been difficult, uncomfortable, inconvenient, expensive, etc., many women chose to be mothers. They endured pregnancy, gave birth, and tried to raise children to be good, righteous individuals, hopefully to help revive a world that is becoming more evil every day.

I wouldn’t be surprised if God didn’t have a special blessing just for those mothers. They deserve our thanks, appreciation and all the help we can give them.

P.S. If you can, thank your mother for giving you life.
