Letter: Black History Month program a team effort

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

This note of thanks is extended to all members of the community who supported the celebration of black history during February and our extension into March because of the weather. The committee members, as well as other workers, are commended for their dedication to the various tasks at hand in making the museum exhibit and programs a success. It was a real team effort. There are too many persons to name all, but know that your work did not go unnoticed and all your help was very much appreciated.

We extend special thanks to Mrs. Elsa Verbyla and her Gazette-Journal team for all the help rendered in research and preparation of photos and information for display. Through the years, it has always been a joint and cooperative effort with Mrs. Betty Jean Deal, museum director. Betty Jean, we thank you.
