Do you believe the Trump, Wittman, GOP hype that crime is rampant, immigrants are responsible for it and they will take benefits from U.S. citizens? Donald Trump stated on March 16, 2024 in a rally in Vandalia, Ohio, “Your Social Security will be destroyed by the people coming in. There’s too many of them. It is not sustainable.”

In reality, FBI data confirm that crime has been declining since 2021 and declined significantly in 2023 and statistics show immigrants are less likely to commit violent crime than U.S. born citizens and recently. Hopefully you know that in order to get Social Security, one has to pay into it and unless someone is paying into it, retirees may not receive full benefits.
