Letter: Bay Aging offers free rides to RAM, voting

Bay Transit is extremely pleased to offer free rides for Gloucester County residents to access the Remote Area Medical Health Clinic (RAM) to receive vital health services. The RAM clinic held on Nov. 3 and 4 at Ware Academy will deliver dental, vision and other health services. Gloucester County residents who want to ride Bay Transit to get to the clinic must call 804-693-6977 by Nov. 2.

In addition, Bay Transit will provide free shuttle services for people coming in with their personal vehicles. The shuttle will pick them in the Academy’s parking area, drop them off at the school, and back from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

Bay Transit will also provide free transportation to any Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck resident who wants to go to their polling place to vote. Buses will operate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Election Day. People must make a reservation by Nov. 2. The following numbers will help guide residents to the correct ride line:
