Letter: ARF needs your help

The Animal Resource Foundation (ARF) Spay Neuter Clinic needs your help and support!

Since we opened six years ago we have “fixed” over 25,500 dogs and cats, preventing the unwanted births of hundreds of thousands of puppies and kittens. In that time, the number of dogs and cats who are homeless and unwanted and whose only refuge is the local humane society or county animal shelter has decreased by 40 percent.

Our mission is to keep our prices low so that any animal who needs to be altered can be. To keep our prices low, we must rely on donations to offset our operational expenses. There are many owners who cannot afford even our low prices, and we must rely on donations to help pay for their pet’s surgery when they cannot.
