Editor, Gazette-Journal: I am appalled at the firing of Carol Steele, who has a very long history of service to Gloucester County. I have interacted with her many times over the years as she was the head of Parks and Rec and as County Administrator. She has always been very knowledgeable and helpful. I hope the Board of Supervisors had a good reason to let her go. But I doubt it. Thank you, Carol, for your service to the citizens of Gloucester County and best wishes for your future.
