We would like to sincerely thank the Gloucester Volunteer Fire Department and the Lower King and Queen EMTs for their help and support during our recent house fire.
I have frequently read and heard about the amazing job that the fire department in Gloucester County performs, but I could not possibly grasp the extent of that until our home burned down last month at 3:30 a.m. The volunteers were prompt, caring, efficient, energetic and very respectful. They did everything in their power to save pictures and mementos for us and helped us to locate all of our pets. They tried their very best to save as many of our belongings as possible. We cannot thank you enough for your compassionate words and heroic deeds.
We would also like to thank Gloucester County’s 911 dispatchers, the Red Cross, the Comfort Inn, Newington Baptist Church and the many, many friends, neighbors and generous people in our area who helped us tremendously. This life-altering event ...
