Letter: An error in judgment

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

To my constituents, I made an error in judgment by walking out of the Board of Supervisors meeting on Oct. 27, 2020. My reason for walking out was because of a change in the rules and regulations to hold virtual meetings that I was not aware of. I was of the impression the meeting I was attending was illegal.

I created an appearance that reflects poorly on me and the government I serve. I apologize to my constituents, the Mathews County community and my colleagues. I learned a tough lesson. Thank you for your support.
