Letter: An end to needless suffering

Wow! Happy days are here again! Finally some relief for the child growing in the womb.

After more than 58 million abortions since Roe v. Wade, have we now taken the time to reevaluate our stand? Make the “day after” pill available along with our four or five methods of birth prevention. There is no longer a reason to destroy fetuses in a situation of great fear and trepidation to the women involved.

Let’s release our capable doctors and nurses (who have vowed to do no harm) from the expensive and cruel daily occurrence of destruction. Free their consciences from conflict. Let them spend their time saving lives!

I agree that Trump does flap at the mouth in an often undignified manner—but this cause has my wholehearted support and prayers! And think of the savings. Your taxes could be better spent on the poor and hungry and funding scientists looking for cures to cancer, etc.

I’m all for this bandwagon! Get me the American flag ...
