President Trump signed an Executive Order on May 5th to bring the manufacturing of prescription drugs back home to the USA.
Through this order, the United States Food & Drug Administration is to reduce the time it takes to approve our manufacturing plants. It also directs the Environmental Protection Agency to accelerate the building of USA plants that produce drugs and ingredients that go into them.
This order will clear barriers presently ingrained in the government and rather than the possible 5-10 years to build these plants, regulatory rules will be lessened.
President Trump is keeping his promise to us to bring drug manufacturing home to America so we don’t have to rely on foreign countries unfriendly to us. In times of strife or wars, we need to have control of medicines that we all rely on for our citizens’ good health.
