Letter: Always something to do

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

At the very beginning, when the COVID-19 started taking effect on the world and every place started to shut down, I began to have so much time on my hands since I was homebound with no place to go. So, I’ve found things to do to keep myself busy.

In March, I made my cousin Matthew a homemade Easter present out of a postal mailing box. In April, I made Linda and Sherman homemade Easter baskets out of construction paper. I made my cousin Matthew a homemade birthday card to send him before May 5.

In May, I made the mothers in my neighborhood homemade Mother’s Day cards. I started my own garden by growing radishes, carrots and chives. In June, I made my friend Sebastian Rhode a homemade graduation card. I made the fathers at Newington Baptist Church homemade Father’s Day cards. I started back in church on Sunday, June 14.
