Letter: Abortion: A premeditated attack on very youngest

The gun violence in our schools that is on the increase is a great tragedy. We have heard comments from many people. Our president said that these lives were cut short, that this was a horrific event, and that a classroom is meant to be a safe place for the very young.

Others said that "evil has entered our town—these little lives had much to offer the world and we will not benefit from their potential now. We are heartsick that the youngest have now been made a target of unexplainable murder."

A newspaper recently ran a picture with the numbers of deaths by several "legal" means—driving, guns, etc. The paper published that flowers were placed—3,300—for each young life taken (every day) before they could even meet their mother and father and experience first grade.
