I missed the “Firefighter’s Last Call” for Andy James. Didn’t know about it until it was over. Reading about it in the Gazette-Journal put me at ease. So grateful to live in Gloucester where deserving individuals are recognized and appreciated.
Andy earned the respect of not just the firefighters, but the entire community. Among his many accomplishments, he succeeded in putting the Gloucester Board of Supervisors back on track when fed-up citizens of the Ware District first elected him to the board in November 2011.
In all my interactions with Supervisor Andy, he was personable, sensible and kept his word. Andy set a worthy example for all of us.
