On behalf of the Mathews Baptist Church youth group, I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to everyone who supported the fundraiser for MichaelDion Davis-Ruskovitz Friday night at Mathews High School.

Mathews is a wonderful community with a huge heart. The outpouring of churches, businesses, community members, teachers and students was overwhelming. We would like to especially thank Nelda Gibbs, Diane Bing and Lou Ann Diggs for volunteering their time and energy to prepare such a delicious meal for the community. We never could have pulled off the evening without their hard work and dedication.

We would also like to thank the youth of Salem UMC and Francis de Sales. What a blessing to watch an entire community embrace such a worthy cause.
