In one of Spanberger’s ads, she said she is running to keep our communities safe, but she voted against the Laken Riley Act which would keep illegal criminals detained until they could be turned over to ICE.
She has also said that she will not allow state law enforcement to cooperate with ICE agents to deport illegal criminals. So, which is it? If you are not going to detain illegals when they commit a crime and not going to cooperate with ICE, how does she plan to keep us safe from the illegal criminals who have committed rape, murder, theft, assault with a deadly weapon, etc.? She will be turning our state into a sanctuary state; is that what we want for Virginia. Or do we want to continue the path of law and order that Winsome Earle-Sears has advocated for?
What is Spanberger’s position on boys in girls’ sports or locker rooms? She has yet to answer that question. But her voting record says it all.
