Letter: A well-run Election Day

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I was extremely proud to see our conduct during the presidential and state elections on November 3rd, and particularly here in Gloucester County. My voting precinct is Achilles and while there were a lot of people voting, it was extremely orderly and the lines and organization of the ropes could not have been better. Some states with resources much larger than Virginia could learn a lot from our commonwealth.

With us it was not who won but how it was won, and it was the will of our qualified voters coupled with the organization of the volunteers impeccably executed.
