Letter: A voice in Richmond

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I just want to say thanks to Governor Youngkin for his actions when he first got into office. Once again, we have a strong leader who is not a career politician and has nothing but our interests at heart. He will do what’s right for Virginians because he is not beholden to his party’s leaders. For those of us that are conservative, we finally have a voice in Richmond for the first time since Governor McDonnell.

We can finally start to unwind some of the things that our recent liberal leadership has done to try to change Virginia. I can’t help but thank President Biden for helping to make it happen.

Hilton YoungHayes, Va.
